Hi

i have just installed Multihak 2.0 (it looks a nice bit of kit, will sure help me with the hacks)

Only problems is

I have run my first hack, sticky threads

It failed on "ubb_forum" replace line

I tried to edit the said line by hand, upped the hacked files, BUT it still doesnt work, i have tried 3 times

what am i doing wrong ???????

just tried the PM inbox hack, that doesnt work either

what version ubb are you using them on?

Yes, make sure that the hack you are attempting to install was actually written for your version of the UBB.

Also keep in mind that if you have installed another hack that has modified code this hack needs, it will fail as well. This doesn't happen all that often actually though.

Please post your UBB version and the exact version/location of the MultiHack file you are using.

well i am using UBB 6.104

also using the new multihack prog from troy's site

the hacks themselves are from here ubbdev, multihack 2.0's

I did have some success last night, i installed the smilie hack, though i then uninstalled it, as it made the "hot-clickable" smillies too small to see (but nice hack anyway, just not for me)

It sounds then like you probably have some hacks already installed that are preventing those other hacks from installing correctly. Sorry, but not much I can do about that.

Glad to see that you did get it working though. That means that you have your paths setup correctly and barring any problems as described above, you should be able to install new hacks without a problem.
