Just wondering how difficult is it to get the news fader hack working on ubb 6.2

I found the 6.0x version (multihack version), so I figured i'd download multihack and try to use it, guessed my way through how to configure it (dunno if i even did that right or not), then got an error saying the hack was made with an earlier version of multihack and that it didnt support it!

*hits head on wall*

just get the newest version of the news fader called 4.1 and use that. It works fine with 6.2

There are pntf files but they arent in the way so no need to worry. do it manually.

Allen, if it's 4.1, make sure you used the modifications I posted in one of the last pages.

I used the 6.2 News Fader for my 6.3 board. The only modification I had to make was with the JCTemplate file.

When I run the fader, it works in both the regular and JCTemplates, except for showing the stats: Board Stats Display:
Display your current forums stats.

What I get is this: Current Forum Stats: Topics and Posts

IOW, it won't pull the # of Topics or the # of Posts.

Any idea on what I need to do to make this work?

It's not a BIG issue. I mean, I could live without having this turned on; it's my OCD kicking in--wanting everything to be just right! laugh

Yup I have the same problem as well on my 6.3.0. DOesnt matter regular or JC templates. Although I dont use the JC templates. I hope someone can fix this issue for the 6.3 board. I like that feature in the News Fader. smile
