Hey I'm looking for a hack for UBB6.2 that would allow users to change their username's font & glow colors. I've seen one or two before, but they have you select the colors off of a chart - I just want there to be text fields where they could type in the hex for their colors. Also, I was wondering if you could have it so that you could put an option in the CP to only allow certain levels of members to use the feature. If someone could point me towards a hack like this or could help me out and modify a current one to make it like I've described, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Is there such a thing just liket this, that works for UBB 6.3, and admins. set what type of users gets which glow color and font color?

Where somewhere else? Cuz the link above is a name glow hack, that each user can choose what they get? I was looking for a hack so admins. could set what glow color a user gets, by their rank.

Here's one method:
While glowing text takes up unnecessary CPU you could install the hack then edit out the custom_profile_field1 (or whatever number you set it at) in the public_register_form.pl, public_reg_confirm.pl, public_reg_confirm_kid.pl and public_edit_profile.pl files. This is to prevent users from adding the font colors. Then as an admin you can do it via CP for the users you want. If you want selected users to choose their font colors and not you then I guess you will have to code a checkbox as they do with forum access.
