Does anyone know if the Sticky Threads will be imported to 6.3. I upgraded from 6.1.x to 6.3, and I just noticed that a my "sticky" topics are missing.

Pretty sure it will.

The 6.2 sticky hack should work fine with 6.3.

Here is the one for 6.3, there were only a few minor differences. Should work....I take no credit for it only turning it into a Multi-Hack Any probs, let me know.

Well, I am not sure......if the hack was sucessfull and you uploaded all the files and stuff and cleared the cache it should have worked.....works just fine for me. You must also have the Mods Wordlets hack....if you did not have it installed, install it and hack that file....you should not have to upload the other files again for it to work.

ugh...

i went back, did the mod wordlet thingie, then partially reinstalled then cleared then this then that... then reinstalled everything....

but still nothin comes up, and im so far into the adding and removing and hacking that i dont even remember what point im at to double check it, and how i get back to where i was.

...sigh... frustrating.

it now says 'modification wordlet list' twice in the CP pull down menu.

ok, i've gone thru and (i think) removed everything 'top' related for now.

i wonder if there is some sorta conflict with other stuff i have runnin mayhaps?

If you backed up your files, I would revert back and try again. Use the analyze feature to make sure the mod is going to install properly. to remove that double listing go to cp_common.pl

find [code][/code]and delete the duplicate entry.

yeah, i did go back and un-edit all of my changes. so, my boards are working nicely, allbeit "sticky-less"

FYI: In the Multihack file, I had to get "creative" to be able to hack the JCTemplates. Because I put my variable files in the .cgi bin, I used that function w/in the Multihack program. If you use edit with this file, you'll see which steps I did this with AND the path name I used.

I also created the zip file by having the Multihack program create the text file. It's a little weird looking, but if you read it carefully enough, you should be able to figure it out if you'd prefer to use a text file.

I did not change ANY of Jordo's code. I may have changed what to look for, however, especially since I had installed other hacks before I did this one.

That one i made works for me.....not sure why it does not work for you unless you use the JC Templates.......cuz the one i made is not configured to work the the Templates.....cool you got it working though.
