I know everyone is busy upping their existing 6.x hacks for 6.3 however, this was used on our forum in the old 5 series.

Many many moons ago, this hack proved to be immensely useful for us, but with all the upgrades from the old 5 series, this is now so far outta date, we cant incorporate its very useful functionality

Slurpee wrote it and I still have all the files, but it never got upgraded.

As our group is multi-national and events are planed around 24/7, I was hopeing someone might have been dabling with this, as I dont think slurpee has updated it Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Original codeing available if it would help....file names were:

Woldtime.cgi
tzvariables.file

HERE in zip format are the orignal files.

Here's hopeing

Worldtime was never ported but I was going to do it. Until I realised all the times would be stuffed up because half the time zones are on daylight savings and half aren't. Unless there is some form of updating when daylight savings stops and starts in certain places it will be an inconvienience.

The administration was left to those that were in that time zone, so the inconvenience for us was limited, and required 2 changes per year per time zone. Dependent on the number of time zones put in, this admin was little compared to the benefits.
Was a damned useful hack.....worth waiting for and if is added, would certainly make me upgrade the board again with all the hacks.

Since the time zones were easily configurable in the CP, I didn't mind changing them a few times a year. It would only be a nuisance if the board admin had to update them weekly...

Well an CP update is bit too advanced for me. You might need to direct this to more experianced people.
