UBB.Developers Forums Community Development Design, Style and Graphics Problem with UBB Code in Signature

Why is it that whenevr i insert a ubb code in the signature, i simply see the code rather than the picture i tried to insert.

e.g.
I get this:
www.ubbdev.com/images/heg.gif

Because UBB code uses these brackets [ ] instead of < > html brackets
