I would like to see a control panel for moderators that you can use a template with in order for it to keep with the design of the rest of the forums. The moderator could delete messages, manage approved members if they moderate a private forum, and whatever else. The regular control panel looks bad from a moderator standpoint because almost everything says "Access Denied" and doesn't really lay out what they are able to do.

Take a look at cp_common.pl in your templates folder and see what you can do smile You also may have to do some permission changes in cp.cgi or other cp_ files smile

I would advise waiting for 6.3.1 before venturing out to do this one...

I have a request that is similar in nature to this one; can this be done: a hack that would allow moderators access to certain areas in the control panel like custom status/rank, avatars ...

I could use some help with some administrative things, but because my mods have no clue about what happens behind the scenes with the board, I hesitate to give them full access (because of the ignorance factor).

We have not set a date nor announced the complete 6.3.1 feature set...

I'll drop a few hints though - the control panel will never look the same again. wink

Whoohoo!

I hope this means the CP's templates will take on Infopop.com's new design.
