First, kill IIS. Kill it DEAD. Then follow the instructions at this URL: https://ubbdev.com/server/ Then, follow the standard UBB installation procedure...

IIS works well, and is not nearly a convoluted setup as apache. You'll need to open IIS and right click on the server name. In the resulting window, go to new >> website Add your website there. Once you have your site setup, install your ubb in the root directory you specified in your website setup just like here: http://www.infopop.com/support/ubbclassic/UBB6_NT_install.html

Yes, but with IIS, you have to worry about file permissions - I don't think anyone has figured out the right permissions on XP to make things work....
