I realize there is already a calendar add-on however it is single-sided in that it only keeps record of and displays public events.
What would be really nice is one that does that PLUS allows the members to add private events to the calendar. These events could be stored in a cookie on the member's computer and then loaded up with the public calendar whenever they viewed it.
That would make for a calendar add-on that would truly be a powerful tool that could be used by all members of a board.
So what do you think? Someone up for the challenge??

I've thought about this before. It would be great to have something similar to an Outlook calendar that users could store dates in. The more useful your site it the more people will return. It would be nice to have MySQL in the backend if it gets used heavily but that is a whole other topic.
