I tried asking this in the Beta Mods section under the Application Form Mod thread, but no luck.

Do any of you know if a mod exists that could serve as a report feature on a board. For example, on my board, we have anglers from all over the US and abroad that would like to submit reports as to the conditions, etc. of the bodies of water they fish at. We have an idea for a form that they could fill out, that would be posted as a new thread when they submitted it.

Your best bet would be to put together the form using some Javascript tricks - have the Javascript take the submitted fields, assemble a message, then post that message to the board.

Of course, editing the message afterwards could be a real PITA.

I am working on something exactly like this, but not having much luck yet. We used to have a thread here that a lot of the work had already been done, but I can't find it.

I sent a pm to someone who's done it in the past, hopefully they'll get it and still have the code

So the code from Corona's mod wouldn't help much? It seemed like his did that, but there was more added on that wasn't needed - the whole registration/approval thing. I downloaded his code, if you're having trouble accessing it.

heheh... we're on the same page there I even made an mhk for version 6.3.1.1 of his application form - it works well, but really is a lot more than I need. I need an alternate template to post a set list of things in.

What would be optimal would be to have it configurable in the control panel, say something like:

Body_Field_Title1

Body_Field_Title2

Body_Field_Title3

those would be on the left. On the right would be a choice for a check box, radio field, or text box.

Even that might be too much
