Now V6.5 will start soon, so I may ask again about content island enhancement. I reportet a bug to Infopop with the output unstyled coded and it will be fixed in 6.5
What I miss badly is the full text output option (ubbnews function). To prevent server load it should be done in the following way:

one extra point to generate for one forum only limitet to 10 messages unstyled code output. Refresh every 10-15 minutes. The styling is done by .css at homepage. Bind to homepage with java or (better) ssi, no more formats.
CI with java have a problem with Opera. Opera have an agressive cache that will not take the changed output by java. Some people disable java so ssi make more sense if supported by server. SSI also can easy included by php pages. Works well for me.

lets lift this topic up again  Or is there another hack availble to display articles on a homepage. Please no ubbnews, that make to much server load.
