Is there like a code that you can put styles and fonts...etc into your FREEWARE ubb?

In the new version of the Freeware license, you are not allowed to modify your freeware UBB at all. Sorry.

If you downloaded your freeware ubb BEFORE the licence change came into effect then you can continue to alter it all you like i beleive.

I always thought that was a bit harsh myself, does it mean they could have your site shut down if you so much as altered a single bit of the colourscheme?

I do agree that not being able to change even the color scheme is rather lame. But what about the major hacks? The thing they are trying to prevent is using big hacks to make you freeware ubb nearly identical to a full ubb. Maybe they should have been more specific on modifications, and at least allowed *some* (ie. color scheme).

And I believe Phil's right... if you downloaded your UBB before they altered the license, you are still allowed to modify it. As far as the hack you're questioning about, I really don't know. Are you talking about a control panel add-on? Don't know about that. If you're talking about just color scheme in general, you could go into all the displayable CGI files and alter it yourself. Ultimate.cgi, UBBMisc.cgi, ubb_library2.pl, Forumdisplay.cgi, ubb_library.pl (I think)... I think I got all of them.

Yes as long you have an old license for the freeware version before the new license, then hack away.
