Our (Piano Forums) members like the stats, but...
They are asking if it's possible to add their " total word count" to the stats.

In other words, they not only want to see how many total posts they've made, but also how many total words they've posted.

Possible?

probably not without slowing the site to a stop - the search indexes only index something like the first 200 or so characters of each post.

And even then, all of those characters are simply strung together... there's no way to get the number of words out of it again.

Why would your members even want that?

I could see why they might want to know how many words are in a single post before they actually post their reply/post (ie. writing competitions with word limits).

However I can't think of a reason why someone would want to know how many words they have posted in all of their posts!
