Hi All,

We have created the ability to update our ubb user database from our external database. Now, I need to figure out how to connect the "register" and "view/edit my profile" functions to the external data base for viewing, registering updating before they are taken back to ubb.

(Our goal was to create a centralized database for all of our applications...)

The code in ultimatebb.cgi looks like this for this function:

if ($ubb eq 'edit_my_profile') {
&RequireCode( "$vars_config{CGIPath}/ubb_profile.cgi");
&edit_my_profile;
exit(0);
} #end edit_my_profile

How do I replace the &RequireCode statement with one that sends the user to the replacement function (just a different URL)?

I'm pretty proficient at hacking into this stuff, but I don't know how to write this.

Thank you for your help.

Marianne
