Yeah I know..not exactly "a great idea for a new mod" as it's probably simple as falling off a log to most of you here. But darned if I can figure it out, and see no mention of the process in the UBB users guide. Anyhoo, I'd like to add avatars to the standard collection that my members have to choose from so they don't have to muck about creating their own....how to do it ?

The problem is I simply can't find my noncgi/Avatars directory. I can find httpdocs/ubb/Avatars directory....which contains 16 different jpg files plus index.html and ot_avatars_lib.js files....and that's all.
Should I upload to that httpdocs/ubb/Avatars directory and delete the ot_avatars_lib.js file ?
What does the ot_avatars_lib.js file actually "do" ?

yep.
the javascript file is essentially just a list of all your avatars. Deleting it will lead to it being rebuilt.
