I finally finished modifying my freeware ubb. I changed some colors and added stylesheets. It may not seem like much, but it took a little work for me being new to ubb hacking.
It's at http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~eric2000/Ultimate.cgi

Looks pretty good Eric,but I didnt see the freeware board.Was the link to space sports correct?

Humm... strange When I clicked the link it went to http://www.spaceports.com/, The I copyed and pasted http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~eric2000/Ultimate.cgi in to the address bar and it worked.

Thanks for the replies. I just added the side panel from my web site to the ubb. Im starting to get used to this. Its not as hard as I thought.

I think it's because you can't link to the cgi-bin of a spaceports site, from another non-spaceports site.

Actually that's the UBB for the Spaceports site. Koala is right...you can't link to a cgi-bin site on Spaceports from a non-Spaceports site. You can, however, cut and paste the address into your browser and it should work from there.

I thought it was pretty cool, the table color settings were a weird for me however a very well structured site, good job!


Sometimes being dead to someone is a good thing.
