What is the code line to use for adding the "Submit Now, Spell Check and Clear Fields" buttons and where does it go? For the life of me I just can't figure it out!

Thanks in advance!

They should be already there. Why are you trying to add them again? Or are you just trying to remove/change them? OK...

They will be in Postings.cgi. I'm not sure of the exact code, but do a search for input type="submit". You should be able to find them. They will probably be in several places (ie. New Post section, Reply section, Edit section, etc...)

Hope this helps.

Think he's looking for the code to change the submit buttons to the graphical submit images posted in another thread.

I know how to change 1 button in a form, but I too am having a problem replacing ALL the buttons (submit reply, spell check, clear fields) without all 3 doing the exact same thing. Submitting! [Linked Image]

Could use help too with this!

I have used this code before and it works in IE just fine. It also works in Netscape 6.0 but I don't think it works in Netscape 4.7 or less. I am sure someone could write a if else routine to check for the browser used and put in the appropriate button type.

In you postings.cgi file look for:

you would use the same for the Preview, Clear Fields, Submit New Topic, etc. replacing the type with image and adding the src to the file on your server.

I haven't used this as I want to have the buttons seen in Netscape too and like I said I am not really sure if it works with Netscape 4.7 or less.

Yes... I was trying to change the look of the buttons. The default ones look so raw.
Thanks to all for the quick response!
