You should change the colors to match your background color because they jus tdont match otherwise I can tell you just started it and that means that you not done .. at least I think so you have got time to work on it

not bad for a start. I suggest also that you move the admin forum below your mail forums, it sticks out like a sore thumb since users cant access it, and its just sitting there

Well, the obvious, the forum needs some hacking to be done. Second, the page background color(dark green) doesn't go one bit with the colors inside the tables. You need to change the page background color to something that matches/goes with the tables.

The background colour doesn't match with the table coloirs so change it.

More hacks need to be installed like, who's online, Avatars and last poster are good ones.

Use some category headers too, It makes the forum list look neater.

The obvious, who's online. Some other hacks you may want to install are Avatars, Codebuttons, memberlist. Anything else you decide. Just check the beta and finished mods for V6 for stuff you think would be a good addon.

your board needs a lot of work but so far you're doing fine. colors used are off. get rid of the UBBDEV-ish background color and think of something original. maybe you could go for the colors you used for your splash screen which i think looks good. use orange as bgcolor. as for your banner, make a smaller version of what you have on your splash screen. for your text, i guess black would be a good idea, and orange as your link color. it's all about consistency my friend.

also, i got the upgrade now , will i lose all the hacks and templates i made when i upload the upgrade files?

hi, perhaps use #FF9900 as your bgcolor? when you upgrade, use beyond compare (software) to preserve the hacks that you installed.

hi, you can get it here . it's a software you use to compare the newer version (upgrade) files with your old ones that have hacks installed. so, basically, if you're upgrading from 6.04f to 6.05, you would only 'compare' the files included in the upgrade with the files of the same name in 6.04f. it's very straightforward. download it and you'll figure it out. once again, change your bgcolor!!

alright, i was thinking of that color because it looked good on your first page. now that you have the same bgcolor on both pages, that's a good start.

ive given up on upgrading it lol, im scared i will wreck it....

come on, you've come a long way. don't give up!! your forum always improves as you upgrade. ALWAYS BACKUP your files when you upgrade or hack, so that you can always go back when you majorly screw up.

The colors are *ok* though the orange doesn't really seem to match anything but you already heard that . But I think it would look better if you turned your table borders on in ur Style settings. Just an opinion though .

As for upgrading just use Beyond Compare
