on a semi-related side-note, the counter-strike forums switched from a competing product to UBB™ recently : http://ubb.counter-strike.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi 200-300 concurrent users at a time

they just switched... and most likely cleaned out the dead member files...:) If you'll notice, the oldest posts are dated from today...;) Oh, and they do look a good bit nicer than a CGI Error page...

Hmmm it's a wee bit tooo Bright, i mean it's bright BLUE!!! It's not a bit mixed.. theres simply no design planing, looks like there was ten to 15 designers all working on the same site with no communications between them... think i said 'nuff... Yeah, they were on vB last time and it ran slow as hell. I couldn't even get into threads without waiting at least 2 minutes. The UBB seems to run much smoother than before now. Good choice by CS.net

[nls]thug, i'm also a counterstrike freak. in fact i dunno if you're aware of this but either at ifilm.com or atomfilms.com there is a short counterstrike movie that's kinda cool. you might want to check it out. cheers and good luck with everything.
