I'm new here so maybe posting a link to our UBB is a bit premature. But I'm going to do it anyway!

The board owner has been lurking here for awhile and introduced me to this site and you guys kick butt, you've helped and don't even know it!
Our site went live at midnight July 31st. It's a technical Forum, offering support and reviews. You're welcome to take a look and let us know what you think. Heck..you can even register if you want and then we can help all of you!

I've been on the phone with Melmac and we're trying to fix the issue. The board is down while this happens. We had a mess of people register fine until member 30 then the cgi errors occurred.

I appreciate you posting the exact error, that was a big help. We don't know why it did this but we'll get it fixed.
Irritatting after a month of no issues and on opening day the damn thing takes a dump on us.

Addendum, 9:05 EST.
Board is fixed. Turned out to be a server issue and full disk space. Looks a tad suspicious if you ask me...Mel cleared a lot of garbage off the server this morning and is talking with our hosting company right now.

I remember looking at this site at like 2 am. I must have seen it differently cause I don't remember any blue. [I think i was staring at the screen for WAY too long] But I really like your forums. They are nice. and For only being open for a while they have alot of members and posts. Good Job!!

Anywho, please, come on in anytime, we'd love to have you all as members. With this board and I'm working on one now as well, Melmac's and mine posts should definately increase here. He seems to know what he's doing but my learning curve has been really sharp!

It all started with one blank page in place of a Thread, and has spread like the plague from there. Blank pages, various errors....one of my Mods can't update his profile:

/home/sites/site23/web/cgi-bin/Members/pm_users/00000005.cgi did not return a true value at /home/sites/site23/web/cgi-bin/ubb_profile.cgi line 121.

Pulling my hair out. Have spent all day clearing cache and rebuilding member and forum stats and stuff. Anyone got some input?

No, just a regular Mod. Only one MegaMod, and believe me - I have had nothing but problems there. THINK I got them all weeded out now though. Thanks to UBBDev.

Try reinstalling the PM Notification hack.

Sorry friend. I wouldn't leave you hanging I promise. To be honest, I haven't had a chance to go and reinstall the PM notification hack yet. Only one member is having this issue. I am about to upgrade to 6.05, I was thinking maybe when I re-apply all the hacks it might clear things up. What do you think?

UPDATE:

I checked the file that it was making a call to in line 121. It somehow had inherited a 0 byte value. I killed it, and everything is good now. Thanks for your help Tech-Ni-Kal, it was very much appreciated my friend.

Our board seems to be working ok now. 8000 hits in 2 days, not too shabby. If anyone would like to come take another look, we would love to hear your thoughts. If you like tech support sites, please register. And BTW, TC is NOT a waterboy. She is a valuable part of the operation.
