I survived going from 6.04 to 6.05 and maintained the original theme. It is more stable, but keeping my template hacks was tuff. I did a lot of them on the fly and didn't document them.

Let me know what you think, and view the topic pages please, they kicked my butt at first.

As always, great job XPerT. smile

Suggestion I just thought of, not sure how well it woudl work though. I'm thinking that background image may look cool as a static (non-scrolling) bg... smile

Thanks, I tried the static background, but it was a killer...It made every browser I tried sluggish.

Blah. Figures! smile I remember I did a static one at one point too, and it made all my browsers sluggish. But I thought that was cuz I was using alpha-blending, didn't know it was the bg itself. :

Very nice Xpert. It feels warm and fuzzy. smile

The mini icno buttons look cool. The only thing that looks out of place is the post/reply buttons.

I saw your name as the latest member this morning and couldn't remember where I knew it from. Maybe someday I can have a spotlight winner in my sig too, but I need to find time to get the rest of the site up to speed. Doing this by myself with a more than full time Engineering job gets tough though.

Thanks for the nice reply!

Xpert... you've outdone yourself wink

Looks GREAT!! Im glad you got rid of the grey header, makes everything look so much better and match well too. smile The templates are great, and not too out of place, i really cant say that anything doesnt look good on those forums smile

Just because i never like to leave a forum without saying anyway to improve on it, you may consider combining your private messaging, statistics, and whos online at the bottom to make it a little more compact. Just a smaal suggestion.

Everything looks GREAT!! laugh

I have been thinking about compacting the bottom, but I spent so long getting those tables seperated. If you only knew how many hours of my spare time you cost me by having such a kick ass board....

I've changed a lot of my sites pages to match, but I still have some to do...

I REALLY want to get a spotlight winner sig one of these days.

Well, I agreed with you, and only had to modify 3 files to get it done. Stop by and have a look. The bottom of the summary page is a lot more compact now.

Hey, that looks great!
Just one more suggestion in there..

maybe make the title Whos Online instead of Whos On-line, and you may want to stick a
between the $Online_wording and the $Online_Details in ubb_forum_summary.cgi.

Looks GREAT. (But I can guarantee your going to have some competition for next months spotlight) laugh

Well, I upgraded to 6.1.0.2 and KILLED the compression (2K server) but the theme survived...

I hope 6.2 doesn't come out too fast.
