this is my first attempt at a real looking board.

Pick a table width and stick with it! I see at least three different table widths and two different orientations (some are centered, some are floating in this weird spot on the left...). Looks horrible as far as fluidity is concerned, cuz you have to look all over the page to find things, instead of having them all in one nice neat line. Also, the static bakcground makes scrolling painfully slow, especially with those HUGE animations you've got scattered throughout the page. And why are you advertising your love life in the news fader?!? :rolleyes:

I do like the colors and the catstrip background images and stuff like that. Even the lightbulbs are good looking, though they're a little large for my tastes... So good job as far as that goes.

But generally it doesn't look all that professional, imho, kinda slapped together and random. Sorry.

Ya, like I said, the BEST advice I can give you would be to figure out your table widths and stuff. It looks really bad with so many different widths like that scattered all over. Better flowing tables will cause the entire page to look better even without touching anything else, I guarantee it.

I think that should do the trick , once you have ya tables set. Maybe a cool header/footer banner and perhaps u should flirt with some color schemes.

I doubt you should consider going the flash route , cause as per ya statement on my thread , you mentioned you have a 56k conn... flash is gonna eat ya up with that conn. I think you have a very nice board, just some minor adjustments. Skorp gave you some great ideas...

I like the images, and I also agree about the table width.

I suggest you to upgrade to v6.1.0.2, it's MUCH better.
BTW, it's 'against', not 'agenst'
