After the flash header, i've searcht for a different way to use flash in the forum. This time the (small) flash is in a frame and in the newsfader, and the most loadintensive content is now outside the ubb. The theme i would like to show is a sunken mayan city. I hope i'm on the right track. wink

That is a cool theme. It's very dark, maybe too dark for my taste, but then again... the bottom of the ocean is dark. smile

Looks like you're adding some good mods to your forum. Your users will like all those features.

Looks like you have the start of a nice community.

It's too dark for me, but my opinion should only matter to me. I think you've done a fantastic job on the place.

Better than last time wink "Pretty" dark tho. As I think flash are... bad..., I also think frames aren't better. wink

1. If you remove that "www." and enter the site, there will be a problem with cookies + IE6 because of the frames.

2. The user can hardly keep track on his current site.

3. It has that flash mad wink

Also, why do you link to '6.1' at the top?

1. Who would wanna use it anyway?

2. You have to have only 1 active board per license.

BTW, that clock at the top frame shows the user's localtime, not the server time.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that it's to dark and i shall put more light in it where it is usefull. But...it was the choice of the members! We've tried several colors light and dark and at the end the majority goes for dark/black.

The flash...come on LK, flash is nice. smile There are so many things you can do with it.

The ubb 6.1 will be erased once the members have extract their content from it, it's also not active and yes...it's useless to use it. In the weekend it's gone.

The time on the topframe will be show the servertime when i know how to do that.

And the frames...i think, but this is personal, that frames have more pro's then contra's and it can bring more functionality in the forum. When the ubb comes to a stage that it can act as a portal then frames are less usefull i guess.

This has either been fixed, or it does display the server time.

It shows it an hour in front of my time (GMT), and seeing as the forum is German? Then the time would be correct to the server...

[EDIT]
Great forums btw m8y, although like many have said, it's a little too dark, but the flash looks good and it certainly fits the theme. Well done smile

I liked the color schemes a lot, but I'm with LK about the frames. I have never been a fan of frames; however, your use makes sense. How's that for being wishy-washy? tipsy

Now it shows server time.. smile

And your use of frames doesn't make any sense, as you can put that stuff in the 'Header' + 'Footer' parts of your UBB's scheme.
