"Build it and they will come", might work for baseball fields in the middle of a corn field, but not for your UBB™. It takes more than good looks to build and maintain a vibrant community.

Great Idea. My board is bone stock 6.2.1 Beta Release 1.0. Havent put any hacks into it yet, waiting for the next version to be released. I have done a bit of hacking with the previous 6.0 versions. I have a blast doing it. I built and help run my site. We have over 700 members and do about 100k a month in page views. Not Great, but not too shabby for being 6 months old. Still looking to improve and build on our concept and hoping for some helpful tips and insights here.

Why are you still using a Beta Release? Upgrade to 6.2.1.1. Should be easy with no hacks. And nice new forum AA.

Well hi there! *big warm grin* First time of posting on this board, judging by the liveliness of it, I'll be posting here a lot Great board and the topics cool too, feel right at home here Okay, I'm a mod on a UBB board 6.2.1.1 (I think, have to go check that later ) darn great fun it is too... was comparing the features on this one to ours and it looks very similiar, but with some new additions... was wondering if someone would be kind enough to enlighten me on them Spell checks self explanatory (great idea too) but what the heck is a DETOP option?
