Hi All, Great looking site you have here! I was woindering, if there is a portal addon to UBB? Something like vBulletin has with VBPortal? I remember UBB 5.x having a Slash type look addon for it? Is there anything for the 6.x at all? I take it the main page of UBBDev is done by hand? Or is it hack we can addon? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I think it was done using several UBB hacks, like Latest Threads and UBBNews.

Heya! Thanx for the pointers. My brain wasn't quite workign when I posted this, only saw the Mods Forum later down the track. Could you maybe move the thread into there if that's the case? Mijae: That's the one UBBNews, that sorta of rings a bell now. Do you know if it's been adopted for the 6.2.x & 6.3.x version? Might give it a shot and see what happens. Just a question on the main page of UBBDev. That's all done manually with with SSI? Do you use something like Newspro to update the main page? Just interested to see how it was all done. Cheers.

The news on the UBBDev main page is UBBNews and it uses a SSI call, as well as those Latest Threads.
And there are a few hacks with SSI calls for the main page. If you combine them you can get something like a portal.

Aha! Cheers for that one. Was going through the link that drrknght sent me, and that's exactly what i was after. I think I'll just follow suit with that UBBDev has done with the SSI calls on UBBNews and Latest Threads. Thanks for your help people. Choice bro.

You can add more than that. There is calendar SSI and Statictics SSI. Just look around the hacks forum.
