New topics each day...A few. New posts a day? Around 35 or so I think.

At the moment, I get around 7 to 8 active topics per day. So, as you can see, my UBB isn't the most popular around. :

60 per day? Woah...

Well it's certainly taken a lot of effort believe me! Although there are only 120+ members, majority are very active.

Does anyone know if the stats hack counts the new posts per day?

Over on the UD forums where I moderate, the average per day is around 80-90, and over the past week it has hit 200 active threads per day (although the Active Topics often resets itself before then). However, I think you could say that we exceed the UBB recommendations just a little smile , so 60 indicates that you've got a popular forum.

Anywhere from 5-6 on a slow weekend day, to 20 or more on a steady weekday.

I can get as low as 5 a day on a less-active day but weekends bring 15-20 topics.

That's interesting the way that some are more popular at weekends rather than during the week.

For me it's busier week days 50-65 week ends more like 20-30

I can't actually find any for the latest version, and I expect the accelerator will have improved matters in the newer versions. However for one of the older versions, it was said that UBB was for small communities (<20,000 members), and we're currently approaching 28,000 and have been getting over 600 visitors at a time in the last two weeks.

I average 45-55 weekends and weekdays...sometimes it will hit 80 if there are "activities" going on and we get mentioned on other sites. I honestly can't figure out why we get mentioned other places where strife and contention are king. I ban the people that bring it with them and never mention it on the board but they can't let go.

The good thing is that we have members that came over to see what they were complaining about and realized that we are a nice community.
