How the hell do you delete a forum? As far as I can tell you can just turn them on and off once created, but not turn them off. ------------------ Neal 'Thradar' Ulen Webmaster www.gamerforums.net www.moviefanonline.com

The best (read: safest) thing to do is just to turn them off and prune the posts. Trying to delete forums can cause major hassles (like archives and digests). Just a thought ------------------ http://www.iamcal.com

The way the software was originally designed, it was dependant on the 9 Forums being there. Unlimited forms and a bunch of other stuff were added on, and the way the code is structured, it made it difficult to do.
That's why I say hopefully its an option for v6. Since 6 is a redesign, it would be the perfect time to allow for the ability.

I have repaired a few ubb's for people who have manually deleted forums... not very fun... and takes a good while as well to fix the boo-boos... Do like cal and Mark have suggested, turn off and prune all the messages, then re-index... ------------------ Allen - http://www.stand318.com
