OK, first, the news:
ICANN approved 7 new domain suffixes. And they suck.
.pro
.info
.name
.aero
.museum
.coop
.biz
You agree with me? Why does the aviation industry need its own suffix? I've never even SEEN an aerospace website!
On to the question:
I'd like a new domain name. Something short and snappy. I have two right now:
antipopculture.org
and (hold your breath)
n-o-t-h-i-n-g.com
You realize what a pain in the ass it is to type that in? But i digress.
I'd like to get a new domain, preferably with an internation suffix/country code so I actually have a sort of choice. Does anyone know of a fairly cheap registrar that will sell int. names? Preferably one with a consonant and a vowel too. David.cx isn't very catchy.
oh yeah. I don't want .tv or .cc either.
FACTS:
the USSR still has a suffix: .su
IRAQ has a suffix (.iq), as well as all other "nations of threat".
You would not believe how amusing it was to make certain four-letter words with domain siffixes (I found a list).
www.ItsAllA.li no, thats not a four letter word. But I have a feeling digital boy wouldn't be too happy with the ones I though of before. Besides, its not like you cant figure them out.

Thank you, and good night.
