how do you guyz edit your CGI scripts? i'm just wondering? cus when i click save on a script it says do you want to make it a text only format and destroy previous formatting..

You must be using Wordpad. Wordpad is great unless you don't know what you are doing. I suggest using Notepad, it is a lot easier beggining than Word.

That means would you like to save it as a txt format, which is what you want for CGI scripts.

Use the VI or Pico editors at the unix prompt!

I use UltraEdit, the text are so much easier to read.

BTW, this really goes in the Chit Chat forum...moving
