Does anyone out there know how to make a VERY SHORT CG Movie?
Me and a friend are starting an anime fansite called "Studio Satsui", but we need an into to our videos...
Basically what I am looking for is a pan of the words "Studio Satsui" covered in blood... then a drop of blood fall from the words and splash into a larger pool of blood... and perhaps the words "Studio Satsui" then appear from the splashes.
If you can do this small favor for me, that would be great. And you will get credit and thanks for your work at the end of each video.
And I would prefer this video to be in MPEG2 at 1220 KB/s without sound, 1394 KB/s with sound.

Remember how everyone thinks that UBB's are expensive? Multiply that by ten, and that's how much you should spend on "CG-movie" software.. Either 3d Studio Max or Lightwave Should do what you want..

Wow, you must be rich then..
That's $6000 worth of software you have, and you don't know how to use either program..
Hmm..
I do know how to use 3dsmax, but I don't think I'm going to help you. I really doubt you came by those programs legally.

So why aren't you offering to PAY someone to do what is basically highly skilled work?.

See the banner add down the bottom of this page? Cha-CHING! Even something simple like that will take a goood long time to render, and at that quality, the filesize will be huge. The LEARNING resources for 3Ds max cost more than the damn software. You can practically get degrees in it.

So you would think! Now-a-days it is impossible to get even 1 CPM on an advertising banner!
I have banner ads on my site too, Flycast, Burstnet, IGN, whatever, they dont pay like they used to.

*what borg said*
I totally agree, but it's because 3dsmax is so freaking complicated.. Takes a degree to just render a simple sphere lol..
Actually, I think you can get degrees in 3dsmax.. or at least that and softimage etc..
Softimage, now there's a program I'd love to play with.. *purr*

Well, probably not.. but pokemon products sell no matter what they are.. Actually, it's probably more like a $10 billion franchise right now.. I was quoting an article I read almost 2 years ago with the $5 billion figure

For one thing... I am 17...
and last year at this time, I was the #1 Pokemon fansite on the net [thats #2 overall, Pojo was #1, but its commercial]. Pokemon has always sucked, but it made me money... now that it doesnt make any money, I dont bother with it.
