The arrival of the new year brings us to our first installment of our member spotlight review. This month we had 39 submissions, as word of our spotlight and the possiblity of winning a year's UBB license gets out.

There was a ubb there when we examined sites and voted... let's just say mainframe didn't prevent anyone else from winning...

Thanks again, fortunately, that one didn't come close to making the cut either...

There were 2-3 sites that were submitted that were closed when I went to check them, maybe that is what happened here... the last one opened on the 15th, the day I checked them out, it must've been just closed without the forwarding link. I think the added scrutiny of the spotlight tends to send pirated UBB sites running for safer havens... I also removed a German site that was a warez site, not too brite to submit for publicity, especially with our friendly Infopop staff watching...

Anyways, thanks again... next month's member spotlight will not have this snafu, we have plans...
