If you sign up with adobe's online PDF maker, you get to make 3 pdf's for free without having to buy the software first. Very useful since I really really needed to make a PDF today, and they converted my word document into one on the spot and emailed it to me.

Sometimes rather than boot up my fancy 3d text program I just make a quickie image at www.cooltext.com . They dont have a very big selection, but it works when you're in a hurry... hehe
