I have ubb on my site and not a whole lot else and I trim the messages back to 5 days and still my site is over 700 megs. Is there any way to make it smaller like deleting users or something??

That doesn't sound right... how many messages/ posts do you have after trimming them back, and what version are you running?

For that to be true, you would have to have over ONE MILLION posts on your forum...

I would believe your LOGS are over 700 megs, but - the Infopop forums only contain ~200 megs. I haven't seen yours to guage the traffic but 700 megs? With only 5 day's posts?

Not quite impossible, especially if running v5, but not likely...:) Our whole UBBDev site with graphics database, forums, etc. is ~250mb. I am leaning towards agreeing with Navaho, our log files average ~100mb/day.

Yeah, All the forums have more than 1000 posts in them, and thats 250MB for 25 or sumthin forums with most have over 1000 posts. You must have heaps more than that to get 700MB.

The logs are the server's access and error logs, as well as any other logs you may have configured the server to create. Link to my forum? Do you mean my little forum or my bigger little forum?

Yeah you guys are right, UBB is only 40 megs and I have tons of logs. I'm going to see if I can get rid of them somehow.

The first one normally does work but at the moment I am suffering from router meltdown.
