Hi, this is a question to those in power. Basically, I just finished my site for my web design site which I hope will make me some cash this summer and allow me to take my final year at university.

I was kinda hoping to get some feedback in terms of design and how fair you think my prices are, but I don't wanna get a bollocking for spamming.

Most of you should know me well enough to know that I don't go around spamming, and I'm not trying to get extra business by free advertising. I mean let's face it, what's the point of advertising skills that most people on this board already have?

Anyway, can I leave my URL?

I don't see why not.. there's a big difference in someone asking for feedback who spends a great deal of time here over someone new who just wants to post a url

Yeah, I think it's ok if you can post a URL here once, If you go around in all topics posting that url, That would be spamming.

OK, thanks Allen. Although I said finished, I've just realised that I forgot to sort the cgi scripts but you can see the main design of the site here.

Unfortunately I've had to use a subdomain and free hosting from a mate, as I'm totally skint right now, which is why I'm doing this. I'm gonna buy a domain as soon as I get some cash in, but for now you can see it at.....

whats E300 in USD? Also i see you are gonna use a zcom, hehe (might want to watch yourself around here with a zcom, there likeyly to rip your man hood off...)

Also, but your own domain, instead of have the inovated-desgin.cfell.com

£300 is currently $420.17, would you say that was a good price? I would use ZCom if I could get the bloody thing workin, I may just take my current UBB and move it there, but I'm not sure whether it'll get enough use.

As for the domain, I have absoloutley nothing to spend right now, but that'll be the very first thing I buy when/if I do get some cash.

Yeah, It might depend on how good you can make Graphics.

It's not just for graphics though, that's for like a 10 page site with a couple of CGI scripts. I once got quited nearly £4000 for something similar by http://www.iwebagency.com/ when I was trying to get an idea of how much everone else was charging!

I like your design a lot -- the idea of keeping everything in such a contained area; however, did you know that your support forum link doesn't work?

Glad ya like the design, as for the support forum, that's something I'm working on. If you looked a few minutes ago, you'd have got a nasty looking error message. That's because it's the first time I've every used an NT Server, and it's an absolute nightmare!

Can't say whether or not they are reasonable prices seeing how I can't convert UK currency into US currency. But I like the design, though it's a little slow loading since pretty much everything is an image. But it looks nice.
