Sounds good, It's great to hear it will have some hacks already installed in it in the normal UBB. But it's a long time away.

Oh boy...now everyone can have the *Polls* they've been dying for...that is until the 5th poll is actually posted to their board, and they quickly get sick of them! blech
Actually, I'm excited about Post Preview (needed for a loooooong time), and WOL is a nice feature. Was Ted referring to Private Forums or Private Messaging enhancements?!?
I'd like to see enhancements to PM, as well as tying your Buddy List to UBBFriend.

Thanks MM,
I'm still running 5.47 (d'oh!), where we do have a decent number of private forums, but haven't seen any private forums in 6.x (no access in any of the forums I visit running 6.x), what changes are needed in Private Forums?

The executive washrooms could use another guy to hand out cologne spritzers... sometimes there's a line.
MM, I am just pointing out new announcements of interest to the reg members that aren't a part of the beta team... they didn't have that list the same day navaho and cc got it...;)

MasterMind, basic math here. 6.10 = 6.1.

No, 6.10.0 is *NOT* 6.1.0
The new version numbering scheme is not structured like the old one.
The old verision 5.47e would translate to 5.4.7.5 in the new version numbering scheme. 6.05 would translate into 6.0.5.
6.10.0 would be impossible in the old scheme.

majorversion . minorversion . release . revision
Majorversion ain't gonna change soon. Currently it's 6.
Minorversions are upped when features are added and/or there are Scary Archetectural Changes™.
Releases are the public release numbers. These are upped with important bug or security fixes, or when minor features are added/polished.
Revisions are upped for minor bug fixes.
I.e. 6.1.0.2 will be major 6, minor 1, release 0, revision 2. The current version, 6.05, is major 6, minor 0, release 5, revision 0. The version prior to that, 6.04f, was major 6, minor 0, release 4, revision 6 (6.0.4.6)

OK, let's forget about 6.2.0.0.0. for a minute..... Allen brings up a truly compelling point. You go to the bathroom, do your thing, go to wash (because we all have good hygeine, right!), and there is a guy standing there waiting to hand you a towel (he might have even turned on/off the water for you!). Do you give the guy a tip? If so, how much? Does the tip permit you to participate in said colognes? Is it even more wrong to not tip, and still freshen up with a spritz or two? Ever mix the colognes (however tempting it might be, it usually isn't a good idea)? Ever make use of the other items available???? Deoderant, Combs, Breath Spray? What to do...what to do.... -Tacks [ July 25, 2001 08:46 AM: Message edited by: tackaberry ]

Usually, if you tip well... he'll comb your hair for you.
Plus, he did just get through watching you use the bathroom, some of you may have to tip well to keep him quiet about your problem...:D
