I run a ubb at caringboard.net and we are being tormented by a hacker. He is sending a nasty emails to all my members. I blocked all email addresses but he somhow knows them still. I have blocked all registration momentarily. But I just don't know what to do now. He is now threatening to hack into my main website about. Is there anything that I can do? Please help!! Thank you!
He probably harvested the emails before you blocked them, he could have gotten all email addresses in an afternoon of going through the memberlist. There really isn't much that can be done about it now... you can complain to his ISP, but you'll have to be firm in it and have as much info as possible before contacting them.
