How far is this beta going to go? When's the 'real' version coming out?
EDIT: I downloaded both the upgrade and full version and it still say public beta 1. Now why does ubbdev have beta 1.1? No fair!

When we're pretty sure that there are no major bugs remaining, we'll do the final release.
Major bugs are defined as non-trivial items, i.e. typos and the like.
So far we're pretty sure this will be very soon.

Just a wild guess here...but it probably depends on the results of the public beta. The version was tested with a small group, which hopefully squished all the baddies. However, a larger population of users is likely to encounter more problems, not to mentions new problems and conflicts brought about by fixes. In other words...download and install a copy...slam the hell out of it...id all the bugs so IP can fix them, then you'll get your gold version -Tacks [ July 31, 2001: Message edited by: tackaberry ]

that woudl be a good idea, mabey then they would PAY for the REAL thing like wat i do when people ask me for ubb's, i zip up a fake virus thats says its deleateing windows then shuts down the comp and says "thank god this is only a game". ^_^ that keeps them away form me for a lil while
