Hey, I was wondering if it is worth me spending $100 on Fireworks(don't want to spend $300 on photoshop :rolleyes: )

Depends, photoshop does have more features.. although some can be made up by purchasing enhancement packages, shouldn't set you back more than $40 for a good one.

I find that firewroks is sooo much easier to use than photoshop, though you can do more things with photoshop, if you are advanced and know what your doing. But if you are unfamiliar with photoshop i definetly recommend fireworks.

Go into the Flash and Shockwave forum, I posted a list of them in there under the thread : (Fireworks tut).
As for expansion packs, the best is Eye Candy 4000. Search on Google for it.

i use PSP7 and fireworks but i like PSP better..

It all depends on preference. I mean since I have used Photoshop and that is basically what I was introduced to that is what I prefer.. But some people like fireworks cause that's what they were introduced to and so on for all the other programs..

i just recently found this site, it looks like it hasnt been updated in a while but they have a few tutorials and some addons for fireworks. Project Fireworks neat plugins too.. and their all... FREE!!! [ August 05, 2001: Message edited by: Bookie - ]

I prefer fireworks myself, part of it's the price difference, part of it is that it's easier to use (for me anyways)
