Sorry, I did not see how this question would fit into any other forum.

If you move your UBB to a new domain name, if you rebuild/update your threads will that change the URL linking in the posts? What I mean is in the threads where people have inserted a smiley, it writes out the full URL of where that image is (http://www.yourdomain.com/ubb/smiley/wink.gif).

So, if the board is moved will there be red x's in all of the old posts that had smileys? Or does the thread update change the URL in all of the threads to match the General Settings?

You can use Ron Carnell's utilities (in the db) since you are still using v5 and they work superb for things like this... make sure it's the newest version (~200kb). It should be there, if not, lemme know and I have a copy at work.
