converting bitmap type into gif type

Who knows a site that can do that? Because if I do it manually, the result would be a broken image,but it would appear on my site,but I don't want to go online everytime I convert a bitmap into a gif. Please help

Just about any decent graphics program will do that.

If you have Win98SE or higher, Paint should save documents in .GIF format even.

There's also a good program for saving as .gifs called Animagic . Open the bmp in Paint, copy it, paste it into Animagic, and save it.

Or, you could just use ImageWeb and saive it as a GIF. ImageWeb could also do jpeg and lot's others. Easy to use.
