To be honest, the term "freedom of speech" is abused IMHO and overly used as an argument. A person has NO freedom of speech in my house. Now, if they want to stand out in the
public street and say stuff, then they have "freedom of speech". Unless a message board purports to be some kind of non-monitored
public place, no one has guaranteed free speech on it. In fact, most message boards during the signup stage often have text that basically tells people they will delete, edit or otherwise put restrictions on what they will accept as tolerable posts.
Free speech is meant to allow us citizens of the U.S. to speek out against our own government and not much more IMHO.
Over the decades, people have moved "freedom of speech" to try and include defamation and "freedom of speech" on private property which I don't think should be the purpose of that constitutional right.
