Excite@Home cable internet service has gone bankrupt and has now been cleared to disconnect its service. Reading through the @Home website, ( home.com ) I found some things that sound funny now that they're not in business anymore.

Well that sucks for Excite@home users. I don't use them so I'm lucky.

AT&T @ HOME obviously had a backup cause i am using @home now.

Where i live (iowa city, ia) Mediacom bought them out, so we still have our @home service

Just came around to test out the ole' account.

AT&T customers are reporting being down- comcast so far has maintained uptime, which makes me happy because they are who provide me service.

Seattle area @home is down now. I recieved a phone call from AT&T this morning saying they would have us back up in no more than a week. considering AT&T owns all the physical assets and only really needs to get enough ip addresses (which im sure they can easily do if they dont already have them), i think they should be able to live up to it...
