where to place this or even if this is the right spot. friend of mine told me to come here and ask.. I have a board and everytime a mod of mine or myself tries to close a topic it gives me this error
Error
An error has occured:
Can't obtain exclusive lock: No such file or directory at /home/sites/site53/users/wizard/web/cgi-bin//ubb_lib_files.cgi line 565.
Please inform the board administration of this error so that they may fix the problem. Thank you!

Your cgi path has a double slash. go into the control panel and take the slash off the end. That's step one .

Line 565 was a blank line in UBB 6.1.0.2 so since we have no idea what could be on line 565 in your UBB why not post that line for us?

Ok, it's trying to lock a file it opneed a line or two above. Had I been smart enough to ask the right way the first time ..  Ok, now I'm smart enough. Give me the previous 5 lines and the next 5 lines.

God I hate the word "sleuth"... When I was a kid at my grandparents' cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks, it was full of old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books, and so when I was struck with boredom or for some odd reason not swimming/skiing, I would read them. And they used the word "sleuth" a bazillion times in every book, and it just bugged the crap out of me for some reason. I really don't know why, there's nothing particularly wrong with the word that I know of. It's just one of those odd unexplainable pet peeves, I guess.
