If you were going to be paid an hourly rate for web design what do you think a standard rate is?
HTML/Graphic Design etc.
possibly some low level php.

Before adoption of the Euro, I liked to be paid in Italian Lira, as the large numbers made me feel like a millionaire. If my rate was say...$50 per hour, in Lira it would be ~ 108,600 ITL, in Japannese Yen it would be ~ 6,630 JPY. Other currencies what make you sound rich are the Belgian Franc (2,263 BGF), Columbian Peso (115,850 COP) and the South Korean Won (65,300 SKW). For those who really want to feel rich, I recommend the Turkish Lira (70,225,000 TKL). Euros are currently looking at 56.09, how boring. However....we've got a special this week! Based on the spot.. $30 USD =~ $47.88 CND $30 CND =~ $18.80 USD $1,000,000 USD =~ $1,595,900 CND $1,000,000 CND =~ $626,600 USD Forward rate shows a stronger USD, so you would want to be paid in USD, unless you were willing to hedge your exposure with a forward/future contract. -Tacks
