Wonder if anyone of you can help me with this.
On my new layout design I have my opening page done in Photoshop 6 and imported into Flash 5.
So far with just the background and all the effects, it comes to 68KB in size. All I have to do is add the text links and sound clips.
But before I move ahead, I always test the file one step at a time. This is where I noticed this problem.
When I access the index2.html page where the movie is stored, the movie just continues loading and never shows. But I don't get it, it's only 68KB. Not 21MB or something like that.
Take a look. http://www.speakeasy.org/~martin0/index2.html
I tried it on another web server and same thing. But if I add a Action to jump to a URL address, it loads and then skips there. Right now I don't have any Actions added. It's only one frame with the background.
But I want to solve this load problem before continuing on...
Anyone know why it never loads?
P.S. HTML editor used is Dreamweaver 4. Movie is in 800 x 600 screen resolution.

Bit off-topic this but I don't see any UBB copyright on your UBB. Sorry if you paid Infopop extra or something but its a little thing that gets you into big trouble
And so another year begins...

Put a Preloader action on it, see what happens.

Thanks, but I was already aware of it.
I must have deleted the line by mistake when I was adding custom hacks. All I ever did was add the Powered by DCC Scripts, but that was in the Control Panel. I only know basic Perl.
All well...at least it will corrected once I upgrade to v6.2.0.

Hmm I can try, but preloaders only work after you made your movie.
But I'll give it a shot.

Ok I did what you said, but it didn't work. I redid the entire file again in flash. Now it works. That was weird... I guess the file was just corrupted then.
