Hmm... How many people will reply 'Warez version'? o _O Anyway, since I'm waiting for UBB 6.3 I based this on my old forums, it'll most likely change when we actually re-add our UBB

Wow, most of the people that have submitted results are between the age of 13-19. Most of that age group don't have a credit card. I bought my license with my dad's credit card (with consent, and he knows that I own a license one very well), like I imagine most people did, but I just found that interesting...

Actually, there is only 1 vote, which represents 3% of the voters.
It really doesn't matter. I wouldn't expect people who d/l'ed their UBB from somewhere other than the members area to be forthright with that...even it is an anonymous poll.

How come? i didn't see a post saying it was closed. I am a member here (obviously since I'm posting this) I can't even see the results.. Anyway...
As for the person complaining....
Though I don't really agree with you I can see where you are coming from, even if it didn't sound very good.
Keep in mind that the people that put a lot of time into this site will likely take offence to people knocking it since they DO put so much time and energy into it. I think they do an outstanding job.
As for this site not being as useful as it once was....
I do sort of agree... But I don't fault the owners/operators of this site. I think it is greatly due to it's own success.
As was said above, there are now multible languages supported, like 10 versions of the code supported, and a LOT of people asking the same questions over and over again...
Personaly, I think some changes should be made to this site. Granted I have a few ideas, most of them I'll keep to myself, but the biggest problem I see is the chat, repeated questions, and the difficulty in finding what you are looking for...
The biggest problem I've had with the site is not being able to search all forums at the same time. I understand why I can't, but it can be a real pain.
I also think that trying to do EVERYTHING that this site does with UBB is a mistake. I find it very difficult to find finished hacks for the version I am using. A simple HTML page with a list would be wonderful if it was kept up to date.
Anyway, I'm starting to complain much more than I wanted to...I've used a LOT of hacks from this site and have recieved LOTS of help from people here. My post count isn't too high mostly because I search this board till I find what I'm looking for.
I think only one time I've had to post a question and that was after searching this board for 2 days to be sure that the question was not asked before.
Thanks to all who contribute to this site my board is better because of your work.

thanks for your input We'll look at the search issue again once we install 6.3 - search is much improved there. Re: supporting all versions, I am for decreasing the number of versions supported, but those who run the version we cut will be ticked We will be combining some of the older 6.x forums once mass-move is included, with the titles to the threads adjusted so the mods are still easily found with a search.

As I mentioned, I know that AOL's browser is a piece of crap ... I like to use it, though, when I surf through UBBDev so that I can click on the various links and not have a half million versions of the Microsoft browser open up (okay, so I exaggerate ).
