Haven't used CuteFTP in ages, I stopped using it when it kept crashing on WinXP (was on XP Beta 2 at the time I think). And there was the point of it always connecting to globalscape whenever you connected to a site.. was always suspicious about that, even if it was just for "counting their users". Did block globalscape on my firewall, but that would either cause CuteFTP to crash or just take an age to think "oh I can't phone home, I'll carry on" I use FlashFXP now. No Crashes, No Calling Home, etc.

I use CuteFTP but I never upgraded it. I'm running something like 4.2-4.3

i use cuteftp pro 2.0, im happy with it  , never crashed or anything

And it has a built-in editor -- if you are making just a small change it's useful to just connect, right-click, select 'edit', make the change, press crtl+s then it's done

I use WS FTP Pro and it's never given me a reason to look elsewhere.
