Here is your chance to be a bit creative. Create an original UBB inspired poem, haiku, sonnet, whatnot. I'll start with a limerick... quote:
There once was a man named Ted
Who had lot of code in his head
He made UBB. For you and for me.
So add your own poem in this thread

quote: "O where hae ye been, Lord Ted my son? O where hae ye been, my bonnie young man?" "I've been tae the wild company mither, mak' my bed soon, For I'm weary wi' coding and fain would lie doon."
"Whaur get ye your supper, Lord Ted, my son? Whaur get ye your supprt, my bonnie young man?" "I dined in the Po'luck, mither, mak' my bed soon, For I'm weary wi' coding and fain would lie doon."
"What happened to your navaho, Lord Ted, my son? What happened to your navaho, my bonnie young man?" "O, he swelled and he quit, mither, mak' my bed soon, For I'm weary wi' coding and fain would lie doon."
"O, I fear that ye are poisoned, Lord Ted, my son! I fear that ye are poisoned, my bonnie young man!" "O, aye, I ate Brett's supper, mither, mak' my bed soon, For I'm weary wi' coding and fain would lie doon."
"What will ye leave your brither, Lord Ted, my son? What will ye leave your brither, my bonnie young man?" "My UBB and my OpenTopi' that hings in yon compute', For I'm sick at the heart and I fain would lie doon"
"What will ye leave your piracy dude, Lord Ted, my son? What will ye leave your piracy dude, my bonnie young man?" "The tow and the halter that hings on yon vbullrtin, And there let him hang for the poisoning of me."

Ode to a pirate... quote:
How wonderful it would be, To have a UBB;
A site for all to see, How cool that would be;
But I can't afford the fee
So, maybe I should see, If I can find one free;
I found an FTP, and got a Beta 6.3
But things weren't meant to be, I got busted for piracy!
The morale of my story, Don't steal your UBB!

How's this? quote:
There once was a man named Dave,
Who really needed a slave,
One that makes good coffee,
And works like a monkey,
Now Charles does both for Dave!
I think my rythmn is off a little

Anti Matt Wright quote:
It took time to setup, upload and configure. Get members to post, easier than I would figure. But I made a mistake, a big one, oh no! I used WWWBoard, and I was hacked to a blow. I should've used UBB, for the price was so low. Compared to the price I paid, for my tale of board whoa.
Buggy it isn't, UBB is best. UBB has features, good ones I might add. Unlike Matt's board, which ran very bad.
You wwwboard haters out there will appreciate this.

I chose to do a freelance poem.
Monkeys: -----------
Verse 1:
Charles sitting, staring at code. Dave standing over shoulder.
The presure is on.
Chorus:
U-B-B Monkeys. U-B-B Monkeys! Hacking the code, addin features, coding the program. U-B-B Monkeys! U-B-B Monkeys!
Verse 2:
Charles is sweating, like a big pig, coding all night. He finished version 6.3.1. Oh no, the testers found, like, 10 small bugs.
Chorus:
U-B-B Monkeys. U-B-B Monkeys! Hacking the code, addin features, coding the program. U-B-B Monkeys! U-B-B Monkeys!
Verse 3:
Charles confirms, with the bosses, everythings OK. They send us, the final BETA, everything looks fine. They send UBB, to the public, the work is all gone. No, no its not. Time for 6.4.
Chorus:
U-B-B Monkeys. U-B-B Monkeys! Hacking the code, addin features, coding the program. U-B-B Monkeys! U-B-B Monkeys!
