1. How do you get the whole pic a shade of one color like the image in my sig?

2. How do you get the lines going accross the pic in the image in my sig?

That is all the questions I have for now. tipsy

1. make a new layer. color it a solid color. set the blending mode to "color".

2. those are called scanlines. check out this site to learn how to do that.

Well, there are two ways:

1) Find an action that will do it. There are a lot of them.

2) Create an image that is two pixels tall and one wide. Then place a dark color in the top pixel and a light color in the bottom pixel. Make a new pattern from that image, and then create a new layer in your other image and fill from pattern. Then change the transparency of that layer as it suits you.
