Found this at another forum:
There is an online petition to "prevent director Peter Jackson 'naming' the Lord Of The Rings sequel The Two Towers" and it "has obtained over 1,200 signatures".
This is because "the title "is clearly meant to refer to the attacks on the World Trade Centre".

I think the movie title should follow the books, not be influenced by the 9-11 events. There is such a thing as being over sensitive.

Not to mention that the book is called the two towers, not the twin towers.

honestly, people just need to learn to shut the f*ck up and stop trying to be so damn politically correct. It's enough already

we all feel bad for what happened at the trade center. should we ban tall buildings now too, in case they remind us of that?

People are stupid and will do anything for attention. Im sorry if your mad about it cause of 9:11. but hey whats done is done. many a movie or tv specail was named after events that wernt so good in the past. and this isent even named after 9:11, politically correct my ass, more like politically stupid.
